Head of Pricing – B2B / PE Backed

We are searching for a Head of Pricing to lead a new pricing strategy function for a B2B services business, backed by private equity.

This role entails developing pricing structures across multiple markets, working with global and local teams, and balancing both short and long term pricing objectives. You’ll collaborate extensively with data, finance, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy Development and Implementation: Formulate and execute comprehensive pricing strategies
  • Pricing best practice globally and locally: Working with senior stakeholder to continue to develop a global pricing identity for the business, alongside working with local teams on pricing best practice and their recipe for success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge close partnerships with product development, finance, marketing, and data teams to harmonise pricing strategies with our overarching business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the Pricing capability as a sole operator, whilst identifying relevant areas for growth and development.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Articulate pricing strategies and insights effectively to senior management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • B2B pricing strategy experience across either internal pricing strategy roles or through management consulting. 4-5+ years.
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders in driving pricing policy and in an advisory capacity
  • Experience in delivering pricing training, and best practice insights.
  • Strong background in working with data teams, and raw data to identify trends, and create actionable insight related to pricing (advanced Excel usage).
