Partner – TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications)

We are seeking a  Partner to join our client, you will be responsible for leading the firm’s strategy and growth in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors. You will work closely with clients to address their most pressing challenges in digital transformation, innovation, regulatory change, and growth. This role involves driving business development, overseeing delivery excellence, and mentoring a team of consultants while shaping the future of our TMT offerings across Spain and Europe. This is a unique opportunity to lead the firm’s TMT business in one of Europe’s most dynamic markets and contribute to the long-term success of our global TMT practice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship & Strategic Advisory: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers in the TMT sector. Act as a trusted advisor, providing high-level strategic guidance on critical issues such as digital transformation, operational efficiency, innovation, M&A, and industry-specific regulatory challenges.

  • Business Development & Growth: Drive business development efforts to expand the firm’s footprint in the Spanish TMT market. Identify new opportunities, create go-to-market strategies, and build long-term relationships with clients. Lead the identification and pursuit of high-value opportunities across TMT sectors.

  • Thought Leadership & Market Positioning: Establish the firm as a thought leader in the TMT sectors by writing articles, speaking at industry events, and engaging with clients on emerging trends and challenges in technology, media, and telecommunications. Promote the firm’s capabilities in digital transformation, innovation, and business strategy.

  • Delivery Excellence: Lead the successful delivery of large, complex consulting engagements, ensuring high standards of quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that address client challenges across the TMT landscape.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of consultants, directors, and senior managers. Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, ensuring team members are equipped to deliver exceptional client outcomes. Support the recruitment and development of talent to grow the practice.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the strategic vision for the TMT practice in Spain and across the broader European market. Align practice growth with global priorities, ensuring the integration of local market insights and global capabilities.

  • Cross-Sector Collaboration: Partner with other practices within the firm (e.g., Strategy & Operations, Digital Transformation, Risk, and Cybersecurity) to deliver comprehensive solutions to TMT clients. Leverage the firm’s global expertise to provide clients with integrated solutions that address both industry-specific and cross-functional challenges.

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the TMT consulting space, with a strong track record in leading consulting projects and client relationships within the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors.

  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the key challenges and opportunities in the TMT sectors, including digital transformation, regulatory change, mergers and acquisitions, innovation, and market disruption.

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing large client engagements, and delivering complex consulting solutions at a senior level. Strong ability to inspire and manage multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Business Development Expertise: Proven success in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving growth in a competitive market. A deep understanding of sales processes and the ability to deliver high-value consulting solutions.

  • Sector Focus: Experience working with leading technology companies, telecom providers, media organizations, and digital disruptors. Understanding of emerging trends like 5G, AI, IoT, blockchain, digital content, and media convergence.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential for managing client relationships, as well as internal and cross-border collaboration.

  • Relevant Qualifications: A degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field is essential. MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualifications are a plus.
