Partner – Transactions

Our client is seeking a partner to join their Transactions practice, you will be integral in shaping the future of our Transactions service line in the UK, while driving value for their clients and leading their talented teams of professionals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in both private and public sectors. Serve as a strategic advisor on critical transactions, including M&A, capital raising, and restructurings.

  • Business Development: Lead and drive business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities in the UK market. Secure high-value engagements, cultivate relationships with existing clients, and develop cross-selling strategies with other service lines.

  • Lead Transactional Advisory Services: Oversee a team of professionals providing services such as financial due diligence, buy-side and sell-side advisory, and post-transaction integration or restructuring. Offer strategic insights to clients throughout the lifecycle of their transactions.

  • Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Write thought leadership articles, market insights, and presentations to raise the firm’s profile within the transactions market.

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor senior managers, directors, and junior staff. Develop talent and foster a high-performance culture, ensuring continuous development of teams.

  • Strategy & Growth: Contribute to the development and execution of the UK transactions strategy, identifying new market trends, opportunities, and industry verticals. Work closely with other leadership teams across geographies to execute firm-wide growth initiatives. Skills & Experience: • Proven experience at a senior level within a Big 4 or equivalent consulting firm, with a focus on transactions, mergers and acquisitions, or corporate finance. • A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory services or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful engagements and driving business growth. • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of the UK market and industry sectors, and the ability to manage complex, high-stakes transactions. • A strong network of relationships with key clients, business leaders, and investors within the UK and internationally. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at the C-suite level. • Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. • A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CFA, or MBA) is desirable but not mandatory.
